Learn to knit by creating this beautiful, minimalist, circular neck warmer that’s sure to keep your neck nice and cozy until warmer weather comes back ‘round.

YOU’LL LEARN:

  • The difference between straight and circular needles.

  • How to create (and read) a gauge swatch.

  • How to understand all those confusing numbers and graphs on needle and yarn packaging.

  • How to cast-on, knit, bind off, seam, and weave in your ends.

This is a two part workshop designed to give students an opportunity to really learn how to understand the construction of knitting, so, once the class is over, you’ll be empowered to make this neck warmer over and over again.

SUPPLIES INCLUDED:

  • Yarn

  • Needles

  • Darning Needle

  • Custom pattern

Part 1 Jan. 16 | 6-8p: Casting on, knitting, yarn/needle basics, fixing mistakes.

Part 2 Jan. 30 | 6-8p: Fixing mistakes, binding off, seaming, weaving in ends.
